October 2012

 This was a lovely night outside.  It was warm and the moon was full.  We stayed out for a long time playing basketball and just chilling. 

 Jack's first day of kindergarten! He's so big.  He was excited about it.  He went to school with Heber and didn't look back.  But the next day he did.  He wouldn't even go.  We ended up pulling him out of the morning class and putting him in the afternoon class so he would have some home time before school.

 We've found it a struggle to find effective ways to discipline Eve.  I decided that I was going to make her wear a boy shirt for ten minutes.  She hated it.  It was pretty funny.  I wish this continued to work, but it didn't.  She is constantly keeping us on our toes.

 Eve also started joy school this year.  This was her first day.

 Jack made a 'green fly guy' person for his school project.  He loves 'green fly guy.'

 Heber earned his wolf!  We love scouts.

I grew some cantaloupe because I had the seeds.  They didn't grow very big so I let Jack play with them.  He would chuck them up in the air and break them.  This is what happened...big, gooey, cantaloupe seeds all over his back.  :)
