I'm Not Sure I Understand...

I got this old black and white movie at the library the other day. I like the new one and have always heard about the old one. I really didn't understand it. Why the blazes did they have Humphrey Bogart play the love interest? He should have been the wheezy old dad! Not to mention that his name is bogart; that brings a whole new scariness to him. By the end of the movie I was thinking, 'What the.' An old man falls in love with a 22 year old who just got back from cooking school?! Maybe it is a generation thing.

No way! This version is way more romantic! Maybe its just because I am such an Audrey Hepburn fan, I cant help but love it and totally look past the old man falling in love with a 22 year old! Hmmm....maybe I am a little biased.....

Yes, I love Audrey Hepburn as well. Maybe that was why it was so disappointing. Put this perfectly nice lady with a grumpy old man.

I've seen it, but I don't remember it well. Although, I've never really been a Humphrey Bogart fan.

and the other one I don't like is Spencer Tracy. I listened to a biography of him once. He was a weirdo.

Yeah, apparently he was this "dashing charming guy." (<-- inappropriate quotes. I acknowledge it) but i don't get it either. But Harrison Ford was pretty old too. But i don't think Julia Ormond was 22. Anywho.

I remember not being too big of a fan of Harrison Ford's Linus.. in the end, the movie leaves me lukewarm.

Apparently this has become a movie review.

The really weird thing is that Bogart now reminds me of Boggarts in Harry Potter. AND, if you switch around his name, Humphrart Bogey,... isn't a bogey what they call boogers in Britainland?? I think they called him Bogey/bogie anyway. And thus concludes my analysis of HB's name.
